1. Mad Cool Festival: Mad Cool is one of the largest and most popular music festivals in Madrid. 2. Veranos de la Villa: Veranos de la Villa is an annual cultural festival that spans across the summer months in Madrid. It offers a wide range of events with a special accent celebrating 50 years cultural and diplomatic ties with China, but also including music concerts, theater performances, dance shows, film screenings, guided city walks around where some of Almódovar’s most famous cinema scenes were filmed, for example, and art exhibitions. 3. Festival de Verano de San Lorenzo de El Escorial: This festival is held in the town of San Lorenzo de El Escorial, near Madrid, during the summer months. It includes a series of classical music concerts, dance performances, and theater shows against the beautiful backdrop of the stunning Royal Monastery of San Lorenzo de El Escorial.

4. Gay Pride Madrid: Gay Pride Madrid is one of the largest LGBTQ+ events in Europe and takes place in late June or early July. It features a vibrant parade, concerts, parties, cultural events, and a festive atmosphere throughout the city, celebrating diversity and promoting LGBTQ+ rights. The main events take place in and around Plaza de Pedro Zerolo, Plaza del Rey, Plaza de Callao y Plaza de España from 28 June to 2 July.
