Halloween, the spooky and fun holiday celebrated on October 31st, has long been associated with costumes, candy, and eerie decorations. But in recent years, a new and somewhat unconventional connection is emerging – the link between Halloween and marijuana.
So, wanna know more about this Joint History?(!) Well, it seems that Halloween has its roots in ancient Celtic and pagan traditions. What’s more, it has a rich history that dates back over 2,000 years. Similarly, marijuana has a history that spans millennia, being used both recreationally and medicinally in various cultures. While these histories may seem unrelated, the two have converged in recent times due to the changing legal landscape (unfortunately not in Spain!) and the rise of cannabis culture.
One striking connection between Halloween and marijuana – and the thing we love most – is the rise of cannabis-themed costumes. We think it’s great that enthusiasts have embraced the opportunity to express their love for the plant through creative and humorous costumes. Cannabis leaf costumes, “weed witch” outfits, and even costumes resembling popular strains of marijuana have become popular choices for Halloween parties and events. Any idea what your outfit will be? We’ve found these great ideas on Weed Seed Shop.
No surprise that trick or treating is a great way to get rid of those munchies. Halloween, famous for its abundance of sweets and treats, aligns perfectly with the concept of the munchies. For many, getting high on Halloween definitely means indulging in candy and snacks that are usually reserved for this particular holiday.
For sure in our favourite cannabis club in Madrid there’ll be an array of treats – hopefully their very famous brownies! They’re just delicious with a spooky cup of coffee!
Haunted Highs: Spooky Cannabis Strains – Cannabis enthusiasts have even created spooky and Halloween-themed strains, linking two seemingly unrelated worlds. Strains with names like “Ghost OG,” “Black Widow,” and “Zombie Kush” have gained popularity, adding an eerie and thematic element to cannabis consumption during the Halloween season. We heard that there’ll be a run Zombie Kush at Spring Comes Early. Better come early!
So what’s it like? Well, the scent and taste of Zombie Kush are earthen and sweet, with a hint of fresh berries that’ll remind you of candy. Friends of ours already know that we carefully selected the clubs at which we sponsor so if you’re visiting on Halloween, be sure to ask our favourite budtenders about this and other strains at the dispensaries at our favourite cannabis clubs.
We can sponsor the right people for membership at cannabis clubs which we have carefully selected for their quality product, safe environment and adherence to legalities in Spain.
