Whether you preferred him as Woody Boyd, that goofy waiter in Cheers, or as Martin Hart, the True Detective, you’ll probably know that Woody Harrelson has long been supportive of the cause for the legalization of marijuana and hemp. #legalizemarijuana
Back in 1996 he was arrested in Lee County, Kentucky for planting 4 hemp plants in a symbolic protest pointing out the absurdity that the law didn’t differentiate between cannabis and hemp plants. He has been vocal in his fight for progress in the normalization of both.
Biggest stash of packaged cannabis seized(maybe…..)
There has just been a similar case in Spain, where the Civil Guard seized 32 tons of packaged cannabis flowers and have announced the capture as the biggest stash of packaged cannabis ever.
Although the police announcements presents the case as illegal production and distribution of the pschoactive drug cannabis, accompanying photos show small packages of a few grams labelled as decorative item not for human consumption – a trick often used in the unregulated CBD market because the product is not licensed as an alimentary or health product in Spain. This suggests that the Civil Guard maybe have targeted the four legal CBD producers, processors and distributors. In error? Maybe it’ll become clearer in time. But it is really time to get everything legalized, we say, and stop the confusion.
Anyhow, back to Harrelson. No surprise then that just before the summer with some typical showbiz pizzazz, Woody opened his own cannabis dispensary on Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood. 
The Woods, an 8,000 square foot retail space offers clients an array of premium organic, sun-grow Californian weed, plus spaces to eat and drink. Anybody who has been to WEHO will know this is going to be a cool addition to the already buzzing boulevard.

Harrelson stated at the opening ceremony of his dispensary that his aim is to make West Hollywood citizens higher. Sort of sounds very much like the clubs we frequent and recommend for our friends!
