Weed in Missouri, Michigan and Madrid

Meet me in St. Louis, Louis…….so that old film number by Judy Garland went.  Not sure why Louis’ wife wanted him to meet her in St. Louis.  But I guess it was for fun at the Missouri State fair.

And, since February 3rd of this year (2023), Missouri does seem to be a fun kinda place.  Yep, yet another US state has seen the wisdom and, after a referendum last year, has legalized recreational cannabis. As the news spread that day, it seems long queues rapidly formed outside the 200 or so approved dispensaries.

It has been reported that from early February thru´ to end April Missourians have spent a massive $230 million on cannabis products. Projected sales by the end of the year are likely to hit $1 billion!!!!!

Here at Marijuana Games, not only can we tell you how to gain entry to private cannabis clubs in Spain, we’re keenly interested in the economics of the business so we were also interested to read in  an article in the Financial Times reporting on the 500 fastest growing companies in the Americas that some 11 cannabis companies made this year’s list.  That’s compared with just one last year and none in 2021.

There are downsides to the cannabis business in the States, however, and it is all to do with the challenges of operating a business which is still illegal at a federal level.  This means that cannabis cannot cross state lines.  So, for example, if you’re a grower in California, you can’t ship it anywhere else. This has even caused wholesale prices to collapse in this state and a few others as supply outstripped demand.

In addition, the banking and financial institutions are reluctant to offer financing – much needed by many companies – in such an uncertain environment. There’s been legislation called the SAFE Banking Act which has been bumping around Congress for a few few years now.

What with Jo giving another shot at things (you go, Jo…), and the fact that he launched a review of marijuana’s status last October, maybe, just maybe, the companies and investors who believe in the fundamentals of the business will get their just rewards.

Other news from another Mid-Western state, Michigan, is that Bob Marley’s son, Rohan, has created a line of cannabis products – for the moment sadly only available in Michigan dispensaries.  No doubt, drawing on his rich Jamaican heritage, he is already an established Fair trade certified coffee producer of cleverly named blends, such as Buffalo Soldier, One Love, and Get Up, Stand Up. Cool, huh?

Now, he’s added cannabis plants to the garden, as it were, and has created proprietary blends which he is marketing with the name Lion Order.  He says that he’s fashioned these blends based on what he likes to smoke on a five factor system. Let’s face it, he must know what he’s talking about! Flower to the people! And he has some seductive looking products such as Island Sunshine, a premium indoor grown Sativa, or King Clementine, a premium indoor grown hybrid.

If you’re nowhere near the States, mid-Western or not, and find yourself in Spain, Marijuana Games can help sponsor membership for legitimate private cannabis social clubs.  Cannabis clubs in Spain are not dispensaries like in the States.  Cannabis clubs in Madrid, cannabis clubs in Barcelona, cannabis clubs in Mojácar, cannabis clubs in Marbella are open only to private members.  You generally need a current member to sponsor your membership and you have to buy a 6-month or yearly membership in order to gain access to getting your hands on weed in Spain.  Cannabis is still – despite all the evidence that it is good for the economy and pretty much a good addition to lifestyle – considered illegal in Spain.  That’s why, if you’re caught on the street with a small amount for personal use, you’re likely to be fined or have the product confiscated.  Much better to join a cannabis social club.  You’ll meet some cool folk and you’ll be able to enjoy unadulterated product. So if you’re looking for premium Sativa, Indica, Hybrids, extracts, edibles in Spain, just use the form below. Yep, fill in the form and you’ll find the answer to your questions regarding weed in Spain

Please note, Marijuana Games does not sell marijuana, nor does it promote its use.  We do, however, passionately believe that all adults should have safe, legal access to it.
