Marijuana Strain Review: Zombie Kush

Posted 15 CommentsPosted in Marijuana Strain Reviews

Zombie Kush marijuana strain is one of the hardest-hitting Indicas this author has ever had the pleasure of smoking. This particular batch of Zombie Kush was produced by La Mesa cannabis club in Barcelona, Spain. This is important information because in my opinion, Zombie Kush is not only the most potent Indica in Catalonia so far for 2015, it’s also the most medically-valuable, as this review will attest. Marijuana Strain Review: Choko

The Choko marijuana strain is the best sativa in Spain, and probably the best Sativa this author has ever sampled. The Choko strain is derived primarily from a Nepalese landrace Sativa and phenotypes of Chocolope. Developed by the breeding and genetics team associated with Club Choko in Barcelona, the Choko weed strain is one of the most unique and potent types of cannabis available anywhere. Marijuana Strain Review: Silvia’s Blue

Posted 2 CommentsPosted in Marijuana Strain Reviews

A finely crafted cannabis strain, Silvia’s Blue is actually phenotype #1 of LA Blue. However, Silvia’s Blue is much stronger and longer lasting than LA Blue, making it a better candidate for various medicinal uses. This strain is a hybrid consisting of Blue Dream, LA Confidential and Chocolope, with some major differences between this phenotype and the one I wrote about earlier in 2014 in this strain review. Despite a considerable time spent in development, the newness of this strain means that it is exceedingly rare, so if you find yourself suddenly able to acquire Silvia’s Blue, you should count yourself lucky. Marijuana Strain Review: Twitter

The Twitter marijuana strain is a hard-hitting new cannabis strain developed in sunny California, although I cannot figure out why it is named after the social media site. The twitter weed strain is extremely potent and easily puts you to sleep, while I have an idea in my head of the social media giant as a twitching, tremulous little creature that cannot sit still; they are opposite concepts. Regardless of the story behind the namesake, Twitter is the strongest cannabis I’ve had in a while and the high lasts for more than 3 hours for veteran tokers, earning it a full 5 Star rating. Marijuana Strain Review: Jack Herer 3

Jack Herer 3 is a Sativa-dominant hybrid cannabis strain based on genetic stock developed by my friends at Sensi Seeds in Amsterdam. This version of Jack Herer 3 was grown by a collective in California, and they did a smashing job of it too, as this weed is a superior, well-rounded example of what a good hybrid should be like. Other than XXX (of which I could not acquire enough to conduct a review, damn it!), Jack Herer 3 is the best strain that I have tried in 2014, with the exception of one seriously disappointing factor. Marijuana Strain Review: Platinum OG

The Platinum OG strain is an Indica dominant hybrid that was bred primarily using Master Kush and OG Kush. Platinum OG is the first Kush strain that I have rated at 5 stars, as most of the other types of this infamous plant just don’t impress me that much. But Platinum OG is different and delivers a potent high replete with a unique flavor and scent profile that sets it apart soundly from other Kush varieties. Read Full Strain Review Here

Marijuana Strain Review: Sour Diesel

The Sour Diesel strain holds a legendary status among many Cannabis Connoisseurs, although it’s not one of my favorites personally. Sour Diesel is moderately potent and fairly long lasting but without the fanfare of taste and aroma offered by similar strains like NYC Diesel. However, Sour Diesel provides some unique effects that make it an excellent candidate for some medical uses, and ultimately the strain is pretty stony at high doses – even for veterans. This Sour Diesel strain review is for the type grown and produced by La Conte’s Clone Bar & Dispensary in Denver, Colorado. Read Full Strain Review Here

Marijuana Strain Review: Blue Dream

The Blue Dream marijuana strain has been extremely popular during 2013 and 2014. In fact, my weed connection in the States has used it to create a couple of entirely new cannabis strains including LA Blue and Blue Caramel Dream. I picked up a 1/4 ounce of Blue Dream and at first wasn’t overly happy about it as I am not fond of Sativas, and Blue Dream is a sativa-dominant hybrid (supposedly; who knows what this particular phenotype consists of). However, I actually enjoyed this strain immensely despite some mildly unpleasant effects, and think that it can serve some excellent therapeutic purposes for the right individuals. Marijuana Strain Review: Girl Scout Cookies

The Girl Scout Cookies marijuana strain is a hybrid based primarily on an unknown strain crossed with Durban Poison and Kush. I acquired some Girl Scout Cookies from my connection in the Northeast, but I happen to know that he has it shipped in every week from California. So it’s possible that the GSC I’m smoking is the real deal. A 5 star cannabis strain, Girl Scout Cookies gets me super high for long periods of time, but it isn’t much to write about in the way of taste, aroma or even appearance. We’ll call it an entry level 5 star strain. Read Full Strain Review
